The time is come to get serious: I want to monetize my blog, jblea1016.com. Over the years, I’ve been writing about anything I want and it’s been both liberating and fun. Like all hobbies should be, my blog has been my primary creative outlet over the last five (5) years. However, things have to change. I want, very much, to make my blog a financial success.

That’s the goal, really: To write and post on my blog and to have it mean enough to people that they would be willing to advertise or contribute to its success. While it may cheapen my work, I have no interest in working with people or companies in which I don’t believe.

There are several companies that I believe in, very much, and their support would mean the world to me. Right now, I’m not in position to be able to officially work with some of them (because of my day job), but there may come a time when I can work with them in a healthy, mutually beneficial partnerships.

Also, I want to promote my own work. There are several socially conscious organizations with which I’m involved that I want to write about and promote. Over the years, I have written extensively about recovery-based groups and I want to continue that work.

The last thing I want to do with my blog is develop and promote my other blog: guitarmestizo.com. I love everything about the guitar and music has always been a part of my life. I play almost every day and when I’m not working or training, I am playing guitar, fixing a guitar, or listening to guitar. Guitarmestizo.com is where I want to collect and organize my thoughts regarding the focal point if what I love.

I live my life through that which I believe is the source of all that’s good and strong and beautiful. I love life. My blog is the main I express that love and my goal is make it financially sustainable. It’s been a part of my life and now I want to fund my life. That’s the hope and the goal.
