When I think of Jude Tercero and Jerome Armijo’s woodworking, the first thing that comes to mind is love. While their hands guide the saws and chisels and paintbrushes, it is from their friendship and bond that the work emerges. Every piece, beautiful within its own right, is a piece that encapsulates their deep connection with all that’s good and strong and beautiful. Which is the main reason I think everyone should visit their booth at this year’s Contemporary Spanish Market.

Without love, to me, art is fake. But Jude and Jerome’s wookworking is a true reflections of lives lived in belief and pursuit of something bigger. I feel it when it in their booth: something bigger than me resonates and attracts my spirit. It isn’t that I like their work, it’s that when I expereince anything of mastery, whether it be music, art, or physical performance I instantly connect with the Imago Dei and my faith is validated and confirmed, again. Their pieces are not just award-winning expressions of award-winning woodworking, they extend humanity’s potential and demonstrate what happens when people connect on a deeper and real level.

So, I want everyone to visit Booth #51. Not for my sake. Nor for Jude and Jerome’s sake. But for everyone’s sake. If in visiting their booth you don’t feel the connection of which I speak, talk woth Jude and/or Jerome. You will gain an understanding of what it really means to be human and why creativity is such a vital part of human existence. Theirs is a higher order of friendship and love and what they produce reflects their brotherly bond. Being around them and seeing how they share an almost unspoken language never ceases to amaze me.

Please visit and purchase. Your life will be better in following my advice. If only for a moment, their work will resonate and connect you with Divine Law.
